It's possible to make things too simple. Maybe it's just because these are Vista screenshots, but I'm also annoyed by the chunky 3D aspect of this theme. Hopefully there will be some good themes to restore the blandness to Firefox. When the browser is so flashy it competes with the website content you're looking at. I've used Firefox for years, but I don't like the look of that interface. It's so similar to the minimalist look used by Safari and Chrome (one of the reasons I can't stand Chrome). But really, I think that a menu bar is essential to all programs except maybe a media player, as well as the Home button, which this design also lacks. Mozilla did make it as clear as possible that the designs were "simply for exploration/brainstorming", so it's not yet likely that that will be the next default theme. But if it is, I'm downloading the "Strata" theme used by Firefox 3.0 and 3.5. Ugh. I’ve used Firefox for years, but I don’t like the look of that interface.
